Middle range theory for nursing
"The interest in middle range theory continues to grow as demonstrated by the increased number of published theories as well as the desire among nursing faculty, students, and researchers to use theories at the middle range to guide practice and research. A third editor, Dr. Roger D. Carpenter, has been added to the book. He brings previous experience as a book editor, and an associate editor of a well-established nursing research journal. In addition, he has experience teaching theory and research to DNP and PhD students. There are four added features in the fifth edition of this book. These are the addition of new theories, addition of a section on application of middle range theory to practice, extensive revision on the chapter on building concepts for research, and addition of a chapter on application of middle range theory to education"-- Provided by publisher.
